Analyzing the thought of LCWR meeting’s keynote speaker
CWN – August 13, 2012
Father Dwight Longenecker examines the thought of Barbara Marx Hubbard, the keynote speaker at last week’s assembly of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious, and concludes that she is a “thoroughgoing, first class, leader of the New Age Movement.”
Opening his column with a play on the LCWR keynoter’s name, Father Longenecker asks: “Is she related to Karl Marx? Groucho Marx? L. Ron Hubbard?” He concludes: “None of the above literally, but all of the above metaphorically.”
